I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, but felt very old with stains on the floor and even insects, which was disappointing. On the bright side, the hotel is right on the beach and housekeeping was great. The service was attentive and helpful, except for a confusing self-parking situation. The location is convenient for various activities, although there were some changes in staff. The dining options were delicious but overpriced. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

It is a little bit old and outdated, priced at US$600 per night, which was absolutely not worth it. The rooms have popcorn ceilings.

However, they are a little old and outdated.
Service

The service was great in dealing with current issues and making efforts to ensure a memorable stay, although not always a quick fix.
Location

The location is excellent for high-end purchases, quiet, and not congested, located on the Kaanapali coast near Whaler's Village and Lahina.
Dining

The dining experience was borderline terrible and only mediocre, especially given the high price of $66. Expectations were not fully met.

I was on the 9th floor of the Lahaina Tower and, from inside our room, had a great view, but unfortunately, it smelled badly of mold. The rooms were pretty old and shabby for $400 a night, which was a bit disappointing.

The landscapes and pool areas are beautiful, and they go to a lot of work to keep them up. While it's not far from Whalers Village, you'll need an Uber or a shuttle to get to the town of Lahaina.
Dining

The dining was okay in Hawaii, but a little expensive. Be aware that when you book a room with breakfast, it only includes for two people, which can be a downside.

5.0/10

The hotel seems to be in a somewhat hidden location, surrounded by bushes, with older and worn-out rooms that do not match the online pictures and suffer from humidity issues. Service, on the other hand, stands out with friendly and helpful staff, including valets and concierge. The central location is great for beach access but needs maintenance work. The dining experience fell short of expectations with limited and bland options.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was indeed old and tired, not at all like the pictures online. It felt hot and humid inside, almost like a Motel 6 room with a view of large bushes just outside.
Service
8.0
I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, especially the valets and event coordinator Justine. They were attentive and made sure rules were upheld to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location on Maui's west coast is convenient for beach access but some areas need maintenance, like the worn-out pool and common spaces. The spot on the Kaanapali beach boardwalk is great, though.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was lacking compared to previous trips, with limited and tasteless options for breakfast. It felt like a basic offering of bacon, eggs, and toast with minimal variety.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities need serious maintenance work, especially the pool with missing tiles and worn-out walls and doors.

My stay at the hotel was a bit underwhelming. While the rooms were decently spaced and comfortable, I expected a bit more for the price paid. On the bright side, the service was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was fantastic, close to the beach and with lovely surroundings, but the rooms felt outdated for the price. The service was great, and the dining options were good but a bit expensive. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

Rooms
